Nothing is as important as the rapid rescue of comrades with the avalanche transceiver (LVS) in an emergency. The first three minutes are crucial for the survival of the victim. Learn in this course how to use avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe correctly. The course is not only for newcomers, it is also suitable as a warm up for experienced people. The rescue with the avalanche beacon must be practiced over and over again.
This course is an introduction to the theory and practice of avalanche awareness.
Course program:
09:50 a.m. – ascent
10:00 a.m. – Training with coffee & croissants at Restaurant Chrindi
followed by practical part in the field. 3 - 4 hours snowshoeing with lunch from the backpack (must be brought by yourself).
Descent individually
The course takes place in all weather conditions.
