The Stockhorn area offers an excellent location for fishing with its two mountain lakes Hinterstockensee and Oberstockensee. The waters are rich in rainbow trout, which make the heart of every angler beat faster.

The Hinterstocken lake can be reached in only five minutes walking time from the middle station Chrindi. The trail is therefore well suited for families and children. Those who appreciate solitude while fishing will find a quiet place after a 40-minute walk from the middle station to the Oberstockensee.

The fishery is currently closed.

The fishing permit can only be obtained in combination with a train ride at the valley station of the Stockhorn cable car and entitles you to catch a maximum of 6 fish.

You have to bring your own equipment. On reservation we offer fishing rods for rent in the middle station. As an additional service, bee maggots can also be purchased as bait at the middle station.
